Respect Every Role
From the front line to the CEO, we deliver equal respect and servant leadership to everyone in the building — because every role matters to whether the work actually lands.
About Devantas
Devantas puts a fractional CTO or CIO on your leadership team — and brings the automation, AI, and application-development team to act on their decisions. One accountable name for the judgment and the build, for companies that need executive-grade technology now, not a twelve-month search.
01 — How Devantas started
Devantas, LLC was founded in 2024 in Omaha, Nebraska by Jason Nocita, out of a pattern he had watched play out for years inside company after company: the technology decisions reaching the leadership table had outgrown the people available to evaluate them, but the volume of that work did not yet justify a full-time CTO or CIO salary. Leaders were making six- and seven-figure technology bets on instinct, or deferring them entirely.
Devantas was built to hold that seat on a fraction of a schedule — with the authority and accountability the title implies — and to bring the delivery team with it. Leadership without delivery is a slide deck; delivery without leadership is a pile of software nobody owns. The firm was designed so the same accountable name answers for both.
What began as one principal's practice is now a firm offering three services meant to be bought together — Fractional CTO / CIO, Automation & AI, and Application Development — serving institutional businesses of every size, delivered remotely across the United States and on site around the Omaha metro. The name says the intent plainly: Develop Your Advantage.
02 — The founder
Jason has spent nearly three decades — since 1998 — building and supporting technology for institutional businesses, from some of the largest institutions in the country to the smallest teams. Across progressively senior technology and engineering leadership roles in corporate America, he owned strategy, architecture, transformation programs, AI implementation, and the day-to-day engineering that keeps the lights on. He founded Devantas in 2024 to bring that same caliber of leadership to organizations that are not yet at the scale of a full-time CTO hire.
His operating philosophy is direct. Outcomes over hours: every engagement is scoped around a defined business result, not a timesheet. Honest counsel: leadership teams hear what he actually thinks, including when the right call is to slow down, scope down, or keep what they already have. Knowledge transfer is the goal: each engagement is built to hand ownership back to the internal team — Devantas works itself out of a job, on purpose.

03 — What we believe
From the front line to the CEO, we deliver equal respect and servant leadership to everyone in the building — because every role matters to whether the work actually lands.
We will never advise a client to do something we would not be willing to do ourselves, or have not already done. The recommendation and the risk sit on the same side of the table.
We are serious about change and rooted in strong values: no office politics, no games, no shortcuts — just results that matter. Our most successful clients believe the same.
We do not linger for a paycheck. We solve the problem, empower the team, and hand off the roadmap, documentation, and relationships — always ready for the next challenge.
04 — What we do
A CTO or CIO on your leadership team for the hours each month you actually need one — roadmap and budget ownership, architecture and build-versus-buy calls, vendor and security oversight, and board reporting in plain language.
Automation that removes real hours from real processes, with a documented answer about where your data goes: document extraction, retrieval assistants, workflow automation, and security and policy controls to watch over sensitive information.
Software shaped around the workflow you actually run: internal platforms and portals, systems integration and APIs, data pipelines and reporting, and phased replacement of legacy systems.
