What does Devantas automate first?
The repetitive, high-volume work your team already sees: document intake and extraction, reconciliation, reporting, and back-office workflows. We start where the hours are most concentrated and the risk is lowest, prove the return on that one workflow, then decide with you what comes next.
How do you prove the return before building?
The assessment measures how long a workflow takes today, how often it runs, and what its errors cost. That becomes a business case with a cost range and an expected return. If the return isn't there, we say so before anything is built.
Will our data be used to train AI models?
No. Every engagement starts with a written data-handling decision: which vendors touch your data, what their retention terms are, and where your data can and cannot go. Nothing goes to a model without that answer on paper.
How long until something is live?
Assessment engagements typically start within two weeks of a signed agreement. Once we build, a small senior team ships working automation every two weeks, so you see it running in your environment before you approve the next step.
What does a fractional engagement cost compared to hiring?
A fraction of building an in-house AI team. Devantas works on a monthly retainer priced by the hours you need — Advisor (20), Operator (30), or Builder (40) — or as a scoped project build. Every engagement starts with an assessment you own outright.
Do you work with businesses outside Omaha?
Yes. Devantas is based in Omaha, Nebraska, and works with companies across the United States. Most automation work is delivered remotely, with on-site visits for assessments, kickoffs, and quarterly planning.
Who owns what you build?
You do. Source code, documentation, infrastructure configuration, and credentials are yours, in your repositories, from the first commit. There is no proprietary runtime you have to keep paying us to use.
What security and governance standards do you follow?
Our work is aligned to SOC 2, NIST AI RMF, and ISO 42001 practices — applied without the overhead or slowdown. That means documented data handling, role-based access, acceptable-use policy, and audit trails built into the automation from the start.
