Devantas, LLC ("Devantas," "we," "us," or "our") provides technology consulting services through the website at devantas.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using devantas.com, engaging Devantas for services, or opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
When you submit our contact form, request a meeting, opt in to text messaging, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include your name, email address, mobile phone number, company affiliation, and the content of your message.
1.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit devantas.com, our server logs basic information about your visit, including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, the pages you view, and timestamps. We use this information for site operations, security monitoring (including rate-limiting and abuse detection), and aggregated analytics.
1.3 Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small set of cookies and local browser storage to remember your cookie-consent preference and to maintain administrative sessions if you log into our internal tools. We do not currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on devantas.com.
2. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and provide consulting services you have requested.
- To operate, secure, and improve devantas.com.
- To send text messages (SMS/MMS) to mobile numbers that have opted in, as described in Section 4.
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity.
- To comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
- With your consent, to send you communications about Devantas's services.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. We use a small number of vendors to operate our infrastructure (hosting, email delivery, scheduling, transactional and SMS messaging). These providers process information on our behalf and under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information when required by law, in response to lawful requests by public authorities, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Devantas, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers. If Devantas is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred subject to this Privacy Policy.
Mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service or messaging delivery, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
4. Text messaging (SMS/MMS)
If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in, Devantas may send you text messages (SMS) related to your account with the Devantas SaaS platform, as described below.
- Consent. We send text messages only to users who have expressly opted in by providing a mobile number and checking the consent box on the Devantas account registration form at devantas.com. Providing your mobile number and opting in to text messages are optional and are not required to create or use your Devantas account.
- Types of messages. Messages are informational account notifications and service alerts (for example, an account or password change, or scheduled maintenance and downtime notices). The program does not send marketing or promotional messages. SMS is not used for one-time passcodes or two-factor authentication (2FA) and is not required to access or secure your account.
- Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your account activity.
- Costs. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Opt out. You can cancel the text messaging service at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive text messages from us. To resume, you can opt in again at any time.
- Help. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at info@devantas.com.
- Carrier liability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. See Section 3 above.
5. Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the services you have requested, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need the information, we delete or de-identify it.
6. Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. The site is served over HTTPS with HSTS preload, content-security-policy headers, and other standard hardening measures. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to or from us.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@devantas.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
You can decline non-essential cookies via the banner displayed on your first visit. You can change your preference at any time by clearing the cookie consent value stored by your browser. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
8. Children's privacy
Devantas's services are intended for businesses and the professionals who run them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International users
Devantas is based in the United States. If you access devantas.com from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required, we provide appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice as appropriate.
