About Jason

Jason Nocita is the founder of Devantas, a technology consulting firm based in Omaha, Nebraska. He started his technology career in 1998 and spent the subsequent decades inside corporate America, holding progressively senior technology and engineering leadership roles. In 2024 he founded Devantas to bring the same caliber of executive technology leadership — strategy, architecture, transformation, AI — to organizations that need it without the cost or commitment of a full-time CTO.

Jason's working philosophy is direct: the technology stops working the moment people stop using it, every initiative needs an owner and a measurable outcome, and the best consultants work themselves out of a job. That mindset shapes every Devantas engagement.

Every Devantas engagement Jason leads is scoped around a defined business outcome and a measurable result. Hours are tracked because clients need to budget for them, but they're not the deliverable — the outcome is.

Honest counsel

Jason tells leadership teams what he actually thinks, including when the right call is to slow down, scope down, or stop. "We Go First" is one of the firm's values; he will not advise a client to do something he isn't prepared to do himself.
